Mit ca. 80 Leihgaben aus öffentlichen und privaten Sammlungen in Europa und den USA zeigt die Alte Pinakothek die erste umfassende Werkschau Bellottos in Deutschland seit bald 50 Jahren und bietet die einmalige Gelegenheit, den venezianischen Vedutenmaler auf seinen Wegen durch das Europa des 18. Jahrhunderts zu begleiten.
With some 80 loans from public and private collections in Europe and the USA, the Alte Pinakothek will be staging the first comprehensive exhibition of works by Bellotto to be held in Germany in nearly 50 years. It will provide a unique opportunity to accompany the Venetian vedute painter on his travels through 18th-century Europe.
