Who is Jacolby Satterwhite? Meet the New York based artist who creates multi-layered, music-based 3D animations. His imagery is influenced by the aesthetics of video games, social media, and music videos. His fantastical landscapes and sceneries are populated by a multitude of animated avatars whose body movements he previously executed and filmed himself. He has also used audio recordings of vocals by his late mother, Patricia Satterwhite, a self-taught artist, as well as her rich archive of drawings.
