Firepower, mobility and armour protection are the key elements for an Armoured-Fighting-Vehicle. In 1912 Gunther Burstyn designed the first Motorized Gun with rotating turret that combined all these elements. By the military authorities Burstyns idea was seen as a technical toy and was never built. Franz Broedl gives an inside view to Burstyns design that marked a milestone in tank development.
